About this record

The 1968 Equal Employment Opportunity survey conducted by the Wisconsin Dept. of Industry, Labor, and Human Relations found evidence of gains by African Americans and other minority groups in employment opportunities and upward mobility.  However, these increased opportunities were not distributed equally across all industries, with some providing more opportunities for employment for both minorities and women than others.
